The Artist Imagination Fund is back!

Calling all artists and performers in the North West who are making work or interested in making work aimed at children and families… We want to meet you at the Big Imaginations Online Information Session!

Big Imaginations is a network of 22 arts organisations, dedicated to bringing brilliant children’s theatre to the north and beyond. We want to expand our network of artists and help you to create shows, workshops and events for children and families.

To do this, Big Imaginations is excited to announce the latest round of Artist Imagination Fund funding. Unlike last year which featured 3 different pots of money (Seed Fund, R&D Fund and Commission Fund), this year the Artist Imagination Fund is a singular pot of money accompanied by a wider support package. This package exists to support artists who have an idea that they want to explore. This might be:

Big Imaginations are hosting an online Information Session that you can join free of charge to learn more about the network and the Artist Imagination Fund money. They will tell you about Big Imaginations and the opportunities to connect with them, you can meet members from the network and hear about the open call for artists to apply for the Artist Imagination Fund.

This Information Session will be recorded and made available, upon request, after the session for anyone who can’t make it.

Big Imaginations Information Session

The Information Session will be hosted on ZOOM at 1:00pm on Monday 28th July 2025. This session is a chance to get to know the network, ask any questions about the fund and meet other creatives.
