The Greatest Robot Ever

By Josh Hawkins of ‘Hawk Dance Theatre’ and Natalie Morrell of ‘The Knotted Project’

Hawk Dance Theatre and The Knotted Project are so excited to have received support from the Artist Imagination Fund and be supported by the Big Imaginations Network. Josh Hawkins and Natalie Morrell have worked collaboratively to research and develop this new show throughout 2023 and, with the help from the funding, we are about to embark on a development phase in the studio, ahead of heading out on tour with the show for the first time. You can catch the show at various locations around the North West over the coming weeks. You can expect lots of dancing, projection and beautiful storytelling!

The Greatest Robot Ever is a brand new, rhyming story created by Hawk Dance Theatre and The Knotted Project. This interactive dance theatre show is perfect for children 3-10 years and their grownups.

Glitch the little Robot doesn’t feel special like all the other amazing robots living in the Junk Yard. With the help of their best friend Shift they go on a quest to find the pieces to make them stand out! Full of fun, adventure and self discovery; will Glitch find what they were searching for all along?

Using projection, dance and storytelling, children interact with the performers throughout the show and take part in an engaging workshop exploring resilience, friendship and wellbeing.
