Christmas has arrived already, and nothing quite gets you in the festive spirit like a Christmas show.  The Big Imaginations Network has plenty on offer and here is our round up of all the great Christmas events happening across the venues.

With a host of classic family favourites, from Hansel & Gretel at Kirkgate, Sleeping Beauty at The Turnpike, Beauty and the Beast at The Unity, and J.M Parries version of Peter Pan at The Dukes; the network has something for everyone.

Following critically acclaimed runs in the UK and New York, Red Bridge Arts and the Traverse Theatre Company are bringing Black Beauty to Z-arts, whilst Waterside Arts Centre are bringing back Raymond Briggs for another favourite: Father Christmas. Alternatively, The GrandTheatre Deli, The CitadelThe Atkinson and Culture Tameside all have their own take on Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol.” Head to Hollywood for a new glitzy twist on the tale at The Grand, expect lots of laughter with Culture Tameside and join Theatre Deli’s The Guild of Misrule for their theatrical dining experience version of A Christmas Carol.

Bringing their own take on the X Factor, Touchstone lets us be the judge, with The Cabin of Curiosity’s Xmas Factor, whilst Burnley Youth Theatre are keeping it tradition with their own unique twist to Pinocchio. And in search for snow to bring home in time for Christmas, The Boo, Rossendale bring an interactive storytelling show that will take you around the world.

Here’s what’s on offer across the Big Imaginations network this Christmas..
