Gold Prize Winner of the Asia Music Competition in Malaysia, Edane Ng is a Malaysian-born, classically trained multimedia artist and pianist, known for her distinctive approach to classical music. By blending traditional piano with innovative animation, Edane empowers young children through her art, establishing herself as a unique voice in the classical music world.
Winner of the RNCM Creative Innovators Award, Edane has led impactful projects at renowned venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Edinburgh Fringe, earning support from organisations like Yamaha, Help Musicians, the Royal Northern College of Music, and Factory International.
The Show:
In collaboration with Britten Pears’ Young Artist Trio Kagura, Edane is presenting “Who’s in the Jungle”—an immersive and interactive experience that merges classical music with animation. Featuring Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals,” performed by Trio Kagura, the project encourages children under 8 to engage in artistic expression and deep listening by responding to the music through drawing.
