Wonder Arts are delighted to announce that their free, annual outdoor event for families will be returning on Saturday 22nd June, this year with the theme of ‘wonderfully green’.

From 10.30am – 3.30pm, children and their grown-ups are invited to join Wonder Arts in Church Square, St Helens for Wonder In The Street; a whole day of fantastic, eco-themed shows and creative activities that will capture the imagination of the whole family.

Families can expect to meet Queen Beeatrice and her worker bees as they grace audiences with their royal presence. Apples and Snakes will be performing Plot 17; a hip-hop eco block party which spreads the message of making things green. They’ll encounter a damsel in distress when Pirate Princess finds herself stranded in this story of hope inspired by strong and inventive women of history and looks at the impact of fast fashion in the modern world and encourages the audience to reuse, recycle and reinvent. Finally, Story Craft Theatre will be performing their brilliant puppet show, This Tree Belongs to Me.

Throughout the day families can also get creative and hands-on with some eco-themed crafts with One Together CIC while St Helens Council will be on hand with eco-friendly bag decorating, puzzle books and encouraging families to make eco-pledges and live wonderfully green.
