About The Grand

The Grand is the Ribble Valley’s showcase venue for the performing arts. We are a creative hub committed to inspiring young people and presenting a wide range of events for our community.

Our dedicated staff team believes in creating a positive environment where artists and audiences can experience excellence.

We set high standards in production, always ensuring that artists and participants have the best possible stage to express their talent. A former Victorian cinema, The Grand is a Grade II listed building and was transformed into a groundbreaking performing arts venue in 2008. We have welcomed legendary artists from all over the world to perform here.

What do we do?

The Grand’s programme is devised to develop regional audiences for live music, theatre, spoken word, comedy, film and inspiring youth arts events. We also proudly work with local schools and deliver a number of projects for the benefit of young people.
